Training Protocols

  • Arrive 10 minutes prior to session start and be ready to commence training at the scheduled time.  That means boots on ( or appropriate gear ), ready to go!!
  • If you are unable to attend a session or upcoming match, please ensure you contact your coach as early as possible
  • Training is ALWAYS on, irrespective of weather.  If there are any later changes, please review the website for regular updates.  Alternatively, turn up at Camperdown for further advice (or ring a coach / fellow player).
  • You are expected to bring the correct training attire for ALL sessions which should include:
    • Boots
    • Mouthguard
    • Headgear ( if you wear it )
    • Runners and towel ( in case of gym or alternate session )
  • If you are injured, make sure your coach is aware and if at training– ensure you do not disrupt the planned session.  Please respond to any SMS that is sent over the w/end with up-coming training details.
  • If injured, please ensure you have sought treatment from club physio or your local physio.  DO NOT simply rule yourself out.
  • If you have a minor injury – training is still an option.  Fitness session, or modified session will be put in place by trainers / coaches.
  • Please assist trainers / coaches if required setting up / or packing up gear at the commencement and conclusion of training
  • If training offsite ( gym, pool etc ), please ensure you bring the appropriate clothing and always water and towel.     Again, ensure you leave the place as you found it and be respectful to those that are providing their time or venue (especially public venues as you are representing the club).
