Hello Shammies,
The Gods of rugby were again displeased, first of all raining out our make up round versus Epping and then cursing the Wallabies into playing second rate rugby for their 78th consecutive test.
Fortunately Epping's Council is somewhat more forgiving than Marrickville permitting 2 games to be played at Sommerville. Colts regained top spot on the ladder in a cracker of a game against former the competition leaders, 12-7 the boys got up. These young guys are playing some really entertaining rugby, I strongly recommend getting down to watch these fellas play - there's some great talent running around and even better when they bring their ladies. First grade unfortunately had to make do with a draw but those who witnessed the game, will agree the boys did extremely well to grab the 2 points.
A most important and tough week for the Shammies. Colts can consolidate the top spot and Ones need the win sitting a couple of points outside of 4th.
For 4's, 3's and 2's get the ice baths ready, book your masseuse and stay off the p!ss Saturday, we have a weekend double-header and both games are of paramount importance to a finals appearance.

Assistance on Sunday is crucial in the form of supporters, fresh reserves (Colts and 5's) and water runners. As mentioned these games are huge for us as a club and finals spots so it'd be appreciated if we could get everyone down.
